Lehto and NREP will continue their cooperation with the construction of a residential and hotel complex in the Malmi district of Helsinki. Lehto will be building an impressive twin tower for NREP.  One tower will consist of apartments, while the other tower is being developed in accordance with NREP’s Noli Studios concept, which combines hotel amenities with all the comforts of home.

The 16-storey towers will have 143 apartments and 238 Noli Studios. Restaurant facilities, communal areas, a sauna area, and plenty of storage space for bicycles are also being planned for the complex. The site is located near excellent public transport connections, and a single-storey car park is also planned for the block.

“Our excellent cooperation with NREP will be continuing at this new site. This project, which is being built by Lehto, will give the cityscape a brand-new look and create more housing and living solutions in a very central location,” says Heikki Schemeikka, Director, Construction of business premises, Lehto Tilat Oy.

“There’s a need for different kinds of accommodation and living solutions in developing city districts. Strong development is occurring in areas with good transport connections in particular, such as along the Malmi railway line, and they are becoming increasingly attractive. It’s great that we can be involved in this development at NREP,” says Petri Valkama, Partner at NREP.

Modules from Lehto’s Finnish factories

The site will use prefabricated modules and elements from Lehto’s factories in Finland. The use of, for example, bathroom-kitchen modules and wooden exterior wall elements will speed up the construction phase. Lehto utilises industrial prefabrication to bring quality, affordability, flexibility and ecology to construction.
