Lehto Group Plc discontinues business in Sweden. The reason for termination is the company’s need to focus on competitiveness in Finland and the low volume of Swedish business.
During years 2017-2020 Lehto has executed two construction projects in Sweden and developed residential projects. During years 2020-2021 Lehto has focused on developing a factory-made wooden apartment house concept for Swedish markets and prepared a pilot project. The outputs from the development work can be utilized in wooden apartment house business in Finland.
The termination does not have significant effects on Lehto’s profits or financial position in years 2021-2022.
