Lehto is launching change negotiations with the personnel. The target of the negotiations is to find ways to streamline Lehto's operations and to reduce the cost pressure of rising construction costs. The negotiations aim to achieve savings totaling approximately 150 person-years, which are estimated to have an impact of approximately EUR 3 million in 2022. The negotiations apply to all units of the Group, with the exception of Remonttipartio Oy (pipeline renovation business) and Insinööritoimisto Mäkeläinen Oy.

In the Business Premises service area, the negotiations concern plans related to the concentration of operations in more limited customer and product groups, the closure of the life cycle business and the consolidation of operational units. In the Housing service area, adapting human resources to the current market situation, implementation model for building service technology and the future volume of care construction are negotiated.

In Lehto's factory production, the negotiations concern measures which respond to changes in housing and business premises construction. Possible measures will be implemented through layoffs, job changes and transfers during 2022. The Group's administrative and support services are also planned to meet the changes in housing and business premises construction and the need for internal services.

The negotiations or their outcome does not have affect on Lehto's 2022 outlook.
