A good and safe living environment is important for everyone, especially for those in need of assistance or care. We implement social care and educational premises ranging from small care homes to large schools and hospital hotels. We implement social care and educational premises ranging from small care homes to hospital hotels and schools. We create comfortable and home-like spaces.

The assisted living facilities allow the residents to live as independently as possible. We create comfortable and home-like spaces, where all functions take safety and ease of use into consideration.  We have built more than 100 social care and educational premises in 70 different municipalities.

We have built a stylish care home for the elderly in the centre of Kärsämäki. The facility was completed in 2017 and is operated by Esperi Care Oy. The one-storey care home with 34 units combines enhanced and assisted living services. The care home consists of two group homes.

Accessible premises and a large courtyard

The care home was implemented using our hybrid construction concept, which combines assisted and enhanced living facilities in a single unit. Each room has an accessible, ensuite bathroom and toilet.

This beautiful care home contains thirty customer units for enhanced services and four units for assisted living services. The assisted living units are one-room flats with private access from outdoors. These rooms are 6 m2 larger and include small outdoor storage spaces and individual mini kitchens for light cooking.

The concept of the facility was developed together with the customer and implemented in cooperation with the municipality of Kärsämäki. The easily accessible facility had been locally long-awaited, and the customer units were promptly booked. The premises are divided into two group homes that share a common dining area, sauna and yard area.

The care home has a fenced courtyard of 300 m2, where strawberries grow for the delight of the residents. Accessibility has been ensured by raising the ground as needed and adding ramps. The facility is fully accessible.

The wooden care home was implemented quickly from planning to handover. The construction phase only lasted seven months. The efficient construction phase could be attributed to our construction know-how and the fact that we could use our own concept and experience as a care home builder in the implementation.

The efficient project period was also due to our own module production, which introduces confidence and speed into construction. In the construction phase, we used bathroom and wall elements from our production, which ensured a moisture-controlled process and improved construction quality.
