We built a project comprising five balcony access blocks in the beautiful archipelago city of Kuopio. The light-filled Saaristonkruunu flats in Kuopio comprise one-room, two-room and three-room flats. The balcony access blocks built on the shore of Kallavesi Lake were extremely sought after. The blocks, completed in June 2018, are located next to excellent transport connections.

We built an impressive property with five balcony access blocks in the beautiful archipelago city of Kuopio. The unique group of blocks, located by Kallavesi Lake, was targeted at the consumer market, and the demand was extremely high.
The two-storey blocks (buildings A, B, C, D and E) comprise one-room, two-room and three-room flats. The larger flats are situated at the ends of the buildings. The one-room studios are located in the middle. The flats are 28.5–59 m2 in size. The buildings have a uniform look, thanks to the light wood cladding of the facades. This unique project was handed over to the customers in June 2018.
The spacious flats have a light colour scheme. Balconies and windows create a sense of spaciousness and light in the interiors. Some of the flats open onto a beautiful, peaceful lake view. The natural environment makes this property unique.
The homes are located in the immediate vicinity of Kallavesi Lake, by a lush conifer forest. Most of the local services for this predominantly detached house area are 1.5 km away. The transport connections are excellent, with a public transport stop just 20 metres away.
The Saaristonkruunu homes were highly sought after, and all flats have been sold. The location attracted home buyers as well as investors. The attractively priced flats were reserved in a short period of time. The size of the flats is practical, and the price-quality ratio is excellent.
The yard features a play and recreation area, parking area, bicycle shelters and carports. The sloping plot also features landscaping with shrubs and conifers. Some of the buildings have courtyards separated with a graceful stone wall. The sauna facilities are situated on the ground floor of building C and are available for use by all residents.
We used our own modules, manufactured at our factory in Oulainen, for construction. The elements were manufactures in factory conditions, ensuring a moisture-controlled process and improving construction quality. The use of our own standardised solutions also considerably speeds up the construction phase.
