The fourteen stylish buildings are two stories tall and made of wood – you’ll be charmed by their shades of blue, red and yellow, attractive appearance and small balconies. The comfortable Kulomäki apartments are in a natural environment close to services and transport connections.
The fourteen wooden apartment buildings in Kulomäki include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The area includes a total of 292 apartments of different sizes. On the corner of the plot, the housing company’s magnificent shared sauna invites residents into its warmth. The apartment building area is divided into three housing companies – As. Oy Vantaan Onnenpuu, As. Oy Vantaan Kulorastaantie 3 and As. Oy Vantaan Maauunintie 19.
The wooden apartment building area is located close to good services and transport connections. A sports park, school, daycare centre and store are close-by. The Korso train station is only 1.4 km away.
The studios in the wooden apartment buildings are bright and smartly designed, with a floor area of 26m2. They consist of a factory-produced bathroom-kitchen element and living space around it, and a French or miniature balcony with double glass doors. The studios have an ample hallway, a modern open kitchen and a stylish bathroom. Underfloor heating and integrated appliances crown the studios.
All of the one-bedroom apartments are located in the corners of the building. They measure 41.5m2 and their design has paid particular attention to ensuring they are bright, stylish and use space efficiently. A bathroom is located next to the hallway. Light floods into the cosy living room from two directions: the window and miniature balcony. A modern open kitchen is located at the rear of the room. A French balcony with double doors puts the finishing touch to the peaceful atmosphere of the bedroom.
The two-bedroom apartments measure 56m2 and are located in the smallest apartment building of this group. The two-bedroom apartments have a spacious separate kitchen that doubles as dining space. The kitchen continues into the living room, which is flooded by light from a window that reaches down almost to floor level and a corner balcony. The two bedrooms are located in opposite corners of the apartment. The homes also have a large hallway and a modern bathroom.
The construction method used in Kulomäki represents Lehto’s well-honed factory prefabrication. All of the apartments in the Kulomäki buildings were manufactured at Lehto’s factory in Oulainen. At our factory, we can produce and finish the apartments and their bathrooms and kitchens in entirely dry premises, protected from the weather. From Oulainen, the apartment elements were transported, well-protected, to the construction site and installed on top of the foundation.
Prefabrication at the factory shortens the construction site phase, ensures an unbroken dry chain and improves quality.
