As. Oy Oulun Marskinpuisto has a total of 148 diverse apartments. The building has studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments in different variations. Marskinpuisto consists of a 12-storey tower section and a six-storey section with a sunny rooftop terrace featuring play and leisure areas. The housing company’s sauna is also located on the seventh floor. The second floor also has a rooftop yard. On street level, Marskinpuisto has three retail premises. A two-floor car park is located underground.
The design and material choices of the apartments emphasise space, light, and graceful style. The windows on the upper floors give you breathtaking views of the city. The lower floor apartments overlook the park, Kirkkokatu, or the inner block. The three-bedroom apartments in the 12-storey section have a view of the sea.
As. Oy Oulun Marskinpuisto is located in the heart of Oulu. Residents have easy access to the services at Rotuaari and Valkea. The old park, beautiful water areas and convenient travel connections are all close by.
As Oy Oulun Marskinpuisto is an unusual new housing project – these kinds of new apartment buildings are rarely built in the centres of our largest cities. Marskinpuisto’s architecture is sculptural, crowned by a gracefully curved balcony area.
Large glass surfaces enhance the fresh, dignified look of the building. Many of the apartments are equipped with large sliding balcony doors/walls.
Oulun Marskinpuisto was completed on schedule. Some of the apartments make use of technical studios manufactured at Lehto’s own factory. Lehto’s technical studios are elements that contain a kitchen and bathroom. They are made indoors in dry conditions, ensuring uniform quality. The kitchen-bathroom elements are packed at the factory. They are then transported to the site, where a crane lowers them into place down a shaft reserved for that purpose. This eliminates several time-consuming phases of on-site work and speeds up completion.
